PIDG receives seven accolades at The Asset Triple A Sustainable Infrastructure Awards

The Private Infrastructure Development Group (PIDG) collected seven awards at The Asset Triple A Sustainable Infrastructure Awards held last week at the Suntec Centre in Singapore.

The Asset, a leading financial media outlet, created the awards to highlight the importance of infrastructure to a sustainable future by showcasing pioneering deals that are achieving significant sustainable development impact.

The wins recognise the achievements of several PIDG solutions – guarantees, project development and debt – each supporting different stages of a sustainable infrastructure project.

PIDG was awarded in the following categories:

  • Technology, Media, and Telecommunications Deal of the Year – Emerging Africa & Asia Infrastructure Fund for Axian Telecom anchor investment in Africa
  • Renewable Energy Deal of the Year – Rooftop Solar – InfraCo for Greenpower SL equity investment in Sri Lanka
  • Project Finance Guarantor of the Year – GuarantCo for various transactions across Asia Pacific
  • Green Project of the Year – GuarantCo for KPI Green Energy’s Green Bond in India
  • Social Infrastructure Deal of the Year – Housing – GuarantCo for First Finance social loan in Cambodia
  • Social Infrastructure Deal of the Year – Agriculture – GuarantCo for THACO Agri’s Corporate Bond in Cambodia
  • Green Project of the Year – GuarantCo for Bin Thuan Plastic Group’s Green Bond in Vietnam
